Disclaimer: I do not own the Mighty Ducks: the animated series.

*This is 4 years after Dragaunus was defeated, meaning the ducks have been on Earth for 5 years.  The series will contain guy x guy romance, adult situations, and my own universe, so don't expect the characters to be exactly as the series made them.

Pace yourself.. Nosedive thought to himself as he did his laps around the large ice rink.  He was anxious and a little ticked off.  This fucking sucks... He slid to a halt when he saw his brother coming towards him from the corner of his eye.  "You do realize I'm not going to talk to you..." Dive hissed.  Wildwing simply rolled his eyes and said, "What was that then?" Dive threw his hockey glove at Wildwing's head, who of course caught it, being a professional goalie and all.  "Nosedive..." Wing took a deep breath and sat on the bench to put his skates on.  "The move was not my choice.  We were bought out."  Nosedive started to do figure eights, pretending he didn't hear what his brother said.  "I'm sure Austin will be great..  A year off from hockey will be good for us!"  Wildwing opened the gate and skated onto the ice, pulling on his t-shirt.  Nosedive picked up speed and simply skated away from Wing.

"You're so childish.  You're 23 for Drake's sake!" Wing snapped.  That did it, Dive turned sharply and skated right up to his brother, who had become a lot shorter then him since Dive went through his growth spurt.  "When we defeated Dragaunus I had to deal with the fact that we would never be able to return to our home planet.  That I'd never see mom or dad again.  My friends... And now, I'm being moved yet again.  I finally made friends here... it's kind of hard ya' know, what with the fucking bill plastered to my face.  Like I'm going to make any friends in Austin.  Thrash said Texas sucks anyways...."  If Nosedive had lips he would have pouted.  He's never been the most mature of the team, but he was being down right stubborn.

"Fine!  Stay here.  Do you realize that if you stay here you'll be stuck with Mallory... And I won't be here to fight your stupid arguments with her."  Wildwing huffed and skated towards the goalie's net.  "...." Nosedive growled.  "You know I'm not staying here with out you...", Nosedive finally muttered.  "What was that?  Could you please speak up?  I'm not sure I heard you..."  Wildwing was standing there leaning against his hockey stick with a self satisfied smirk across his beak.  "You're an asshole..." said Nosedive under his breath.  "Well, same to you baby bro..."  They both fell silent and got to practice.  The entire 2 hours of drills and Nosedive slamming the puck as hard as possible at his brother's goalie mask was completely silent.  All you could hear was the slice of the ice as Dive skated and the loud slam of the puck being caught.

Out of pure exhaustion Nosedive laid down on the ice and let out a loud moan of pure frustration.  Wildwing sighed and laid down next to him.  "It'll.. be fun! Just you, Duke, and me." "Ugh... I wish Grin and Tawny were coming too... well... and Mallory, I guess.."  With a smirk Dive looked at Wing.  "We should just leave Mal-Mal here..."  Wilwing chuckled and rolled his eyes, "Don't be a jerk..." "Haha... you know I don't mean it... but I am sad it's not all of us." Said Dive.  "They'll join us in a year.  You should be happy for Grin and Tanya.. " replied Wing.  "Don't get me wrong," said Dive, "I'm really happy they're getting married.. but I'm going to miss them.  I mean, I know they're gonna visit and all, but why do they have to do their marriage shit here?  Why not just move with us, ya know?"  Right as Wing was about to reply a woman came bounding down the stairs of the arena.  She was plump with blonde hair and blue eyes.  They had never seen her before, so they stood up quickly, prepared to deal with some wacko fan.  She got to the bottom of the stairs and was huffing and sniffling.  They skated up to her. "Can we help you mi-" She held up a finger, and caught her breath.  "I did it!  I did it!"  ... The voice sounded familiar, Nosedive shook his head, "TANYA?!"

She grinned proudly at the both of them.  "Yep!"  Nosedive's eyes widened and Wildwing stammered, "Whe-wheres... you're beak.. and... feathers?"  She let them calm down before she spoke again.  "I've been tinkering around in the lab since we defeated Dragaunus.  I kept it down low..." She sniffled and pushed her glasses up as they slid down her new nose.  "I was so sick of not being able to go out.  So, after spending almost four years on this planet I'd had enough."  She lifted her arm, and where her omni-tool had been was a thin silver bracelet with a green jewel in the middle.  "This, gentlemen is my newest invention."  Nosedive shook his head.  "Man... this is right out of a Star Trek fanfiction..." Wildwing elbowed Dive in the ribs.  "Let her talk..." She cleared her throat and sniffled again.  "It's all very technical... and I could go into the detail if you'd like..." Dive put up his hand, "Let me stop you right there Tawny.. You know we won't get a word of your science mumbo jumbo.. "  Her lips pushed out into a pout.  "Well... ok... " Wildwing stepped forward and ran a finger down her arm, looking shocked.  "It's real... it's."  He just stared at her.  "You really have no feathers...  What happens if you take it off?  Is it safe?  Tanya... shouldn't you have tested it on... on...?"  "Mallory?"  Nosedive chipped in.  Wildwing glared at Dive. "Stop it..."  Nosedive rolled his eyes.  "You stop looking stupid and I'll stop being right."

"Real mature you stupid brat..." said a sexy red headed woman who sauntered down the stairs.  She stood next to Tanya and held up her wrist.  Tanya giggled and did a giddy dance.  "See!  I made one for everyone..."  Mallory leaned forward on the gate and smiled her best sexy smile at Wing.  "I bet you'll look great as a human..." Nosedive quirked a brow at Wildwing.  "Uh... thanks?" Wing replied.  He turned away from Mallory quickly.  "I... uh, I'm going to clean up the pucks.. I'll met you guys in the kitchen for breakfast..."  Everyone of Mallory's attempts at flirting with Wildwing had always failed.  She couldn't figure out why.  She was pretty, smart, and... Damnit.. I'm pretty... She said in her head.  Nosedive grinned at Mallory, an evil smile,  "I know something you don't know" The smile he gave her every time she made moves on his brother.  She gave Nosedive a dirty look before following an excited Tanya up the stairs.  Dive started to scoop up pucks and toss them in the basket.  "She is absolutely clueless..." Wing gave his brother a sideways glance.  "And I'd like to keep her that way."  He gave Dive a stern look and threw the last of the pucks in the basket. "Let's go get showered and have some breakfast with the team."  Wing winked and tapped Dive on the head with his fist.  They went their separate ways and met up in the kitchen where the team was arguing.  Well.. not the team, but Mallory.  Arguing with Duke.  Again.

"Whoa.. Whoa guys?  What the hell is going on in here!?"  yelled Wildwing.  Mallory was reaching over the table, attempting to strangle Duke who was now laughing his ass off.  Grin furrowed his brows together, having given up trying to stop the fight.  When Wing realized he was being ignored and came over and slammed his fist on the table.  That did it.  Mallory looked up, her new skin was a bright red tint, she loosened her grip on Duke's button up shirt.  He rolled his eyes, still giggling as he redid the buttons of his shirt.  With a huff Mallory sat down in her chair, not looking at Wildwing.  "You know what... I don't want to know..."  Wing said waving his hands in a "I give up" motion.  "But he-" All Wildwing had to do was give Mallory a stern look and she shut right up.  Finally Nosedive wandered in, his beak stuck in the latest issue of deadpool, munching on pizza.  Where he got the pizza?  We'll never know.. and probably don't want to.  Dive tossed the crust in the trash and closed his comic book.  "What'd I miss?"  Mallory just gave her cereal a death glare while the others watched Nosedive rummage through the cabinets looking for even more food.  He finally settled for some instant mac and cheese and made his way over the the microwave to fix it.  Wildwing rolled his eyes and sighed, sitting next to Duke who was nursing a cup of coffee.  Mallory looked up from her cereal and watched Duke and Wing exchange pleasantries of the morning.  She watched as Wing's face lit up when he talked to Duke.  There was something going on there, a friendship she couldn't figure out.  She gave her head a shake and shoved a spoon full of cereal in her mouth.

Nosedive watched Mallory as she struggled to eat.  It was difficult for her to eat with her new mouth.  It was like learning to eat and speak again.  But she, stubborn as ever wasn't going to stop just because it was difficult.  When the timer went off, Dive grabbed his mac and cheese and joined the table, sitting next to his brother and Grin.  Grin had also put on the bracelet.  It was strange.  It was as if  Dive was eating breakfast with complete strangers.  "What's wrong young one?"  said Grin, setting his fork on the table.  "It's just... You all look so different..."  Dive looked over at Tanya when she pushed three silver bracelets to Duke, Dive and Wildwing.  Duke was the first to pick it up.  He gave Tanya a wary smile and slid it on his wrist.  Almost instantly, Duke was human.  His slender finger ran up up his tan skin, his eyes big as saucers.  Gulping he looked up.  "Dis is... "  He reached up and felt what used to be his beak, running his thumb over the scar on his new lips.  With a fluid motion, Duke was up and at the toaster looking at his reflection.  "Holy..."  He wasn't able to say much of anything, but he looked over at Tanya still holding the toaster in his shaking hands.

Wildwing shifted in his seat and picked up his bracelet, a nervous look on his face.  His eye brows furrowed together in concentration, looking the thin braclet over with wonder in his eyes.  "How... How does it work?  I mean... it's obviously not a hologram."  He asked Tanya.  "Very astute Wing!  No, it's not a hologram."  She took a deep breath before continuing.  "It rearranges our DNA."  Nosedive cocked an eyebrow as he shoved another spoonful of mac and cheese in his beak. She ignored Dive's skeptical look,  "It's really simple actually... Like I said... I can go into the details," she sniffled and pushed her glasses up her nose again, "but, it would make no sense to any of you.  No offense of course."  She waited for the team to respond.  With a sigh Wildwing said, "Are you sure it's safe?  To be messing around with our DNA?"  "Yeah!" Duke said from the other side of the kitchen, petting his hair, feeling the texture of actual hair and not feathers.  "I mean.. dis is neat an' all... but could it kill us?"  Tanya giggled.  "Of course not guys!  Listen, I've been working on this for four years!  Give me some credit.  I would never put any of you in any danger.  It's completely safe!"  Duke finally sat back down next to Wildwing, who looked at the older duck, well... who used to be a duck.  Duke was extremely handsome.  He had well defined features, gorgeous dark complection, and salt and pepper hair and five o' clock shadow that suited him well.  The scars were a sexy addition to his face, and his new smile was devious.  "C'mon Flashblades.. put your bracelets on too."  Nosedive rolled his eyes when Duke called him and his brother by their last name.

Nosedive and Wing stared at each other.  "Rock, paper, scissors.. who ever loses goes first." said Dive finally.  "You're on!" Wildwing replied a competitive smile scross his face.  They both punched their fists lightly three times, Dive ending with rock and Wing ending with scissors.  "Damn..." Wing pouted.  "Ok.. fine..."  He slid the bracelet onto his wrist.  With a quick transformation Wing was human.  Nosedive looked at everyone, and stopped on his brother who was now touching his face.  Wing still had his boyish charm, his smile was cute and his face was round.  Almost baby faced, with a masculine look.  His hair was still white.  It looked odd, but it suited him.  His skin was a milky pale color, a gorgeous complexion.  "Your turn baby bro..."  He handed Dive the bracelet.  "I dunno... this is weird..."  Dive pinched his arm and winced.  "Ok.  So I'm awake."  Wildwing chuckled and got up to grab a cup of coffee.  With a groan of nervousness Dive put the bracelet on, closing his eyes tight, expecting it to hurt.  After a few seconds, he hadn't felt a thing.  Maybe it hadn't worked?  He opened his eyes to find the team staring at him.  Quickly, he looked down and examined his bracelet.  He had skin.  It had worked.  He was human.  After a few mintues of touching his face and arms he stood up and left the room.  The team exchanged concerned glances.  "Don't worry about him," Wing said, sipping his coffee with slight difficulty, "he'll chill out in a couple hours..."

Dive pushed the button to his bedroom, the door swished open.  He stepped inside and walked to his bathroom like he was in a trance.  It took him a few minutes before he could look in the mirror, and when he did he was surprised to see he didn't look all that different.  He supposed no one really looked all that different either.  If he could sum up the experience he was having in one word it would be 'naked'.  That's how he felt.  Naked.  He gave his t-shirt a tug, the fabric felt so different.  Everything felt different.  His bare feet felt cold against the linoleum, his hair felt so soft against his skin.  Everything had a completely different sensation.  He finally smiled.  It hadn't changed.  Still cocky as ever.  His hair was the same.  This could work... he thought to himself.  The idea of going places without being attacked by fans or stared at.  To not be stared at... That would be wonderful.  He relaxed and stepped out of the bathroom and over to his pool table.  He was still smiling, things were looking up.  Maybe moving to Austin wouldn't be so bad with his new face.  Sure he was going to miss Thrash and Mookie, but the prospect of meeting new people was exciting now that he didn't feel so self conscious.  He ran his fingers over the soft wood of the pool table before picking up an empty cardboard box and set it on top.  He sighed and started to pack up his belongings.

Wildwing found himself sitting in his bedroom staring at his already packed up room.  It was hard to believe they had been on Earth for so long.  And that they would be moving to a whole new place on Earth... Starting over again.  He ran a hand through his white hair then gave his new chin a rub.  He smiled to himself.  Things would certainly be a lot easier for the team with their new looks.  He slipped the bracelet off and stared at his feathers on his hand.  It was easy enough to change back.  So, they could still be The Mighty Ducks.  Taking the bracelets off before the match.  After a few moments he slid the bracelet back on and watched in fascination as his feathers disappeared.  So weird... Tanya really was a genius.  Mid laugh there was a knock at the door.  "It's unlocked..."  Duke stepped in a big smile across his face.  "You're packed too I see.."  He made his way over to Wing's bed and sat next to him.  "Excited?" asked the older duck.  "Yeah, I really am," replied Wing.  Duke gave Wing a sly smile and slid closer to him and laid a hand on his thigh.  Wing smirked and rolled his eyes.  "The door is open old man."  Duke huffed at the old man comment.  "I'm only 38.. that's not that old, ya brat."  Wing went to kiss the tan gentleman when Grin walked through the door.  "I'm sorry to interupt.. but your new car arrived.  Thought you guys would like to take a look at it before you leave... Phil said the other two are waiting for you in Austin."  Wildwing flushed bright red and stood up imediately.  "Of course."  He coughed awkwardly and made his way out of the room.  Grin smiled apologetically at Duke before following their flustered leader.

Duke sighed and laid back on Wing's bed, a happy smile across his face.  Things were going to be interesting.  A nice break from hockey, time away from Mallory, and being close to his boyfriend without worrying about the team freaking out on them.  "Dis will be good..."  He stared up at the ceiling and kicked off his boots.  He rolled over and curled up into a ball, hugging Wing's pillow, and closed his eyes.  Mmmm... he thought to himself.  Very nice...
